About My Path
I began my study of yoga in 1995 at the age of 16 at a hatha yoga retreat and followed this practice for 30 years. My work as a healer and spiritual practitioner is aligned with the ethos of Bhakti yoga, the path of devotion. I am not affiliated with any particular religion but seek true union with the Divine through service to others in the spirit of karma yoga.
In 2005 I began studying tarot and connecting with my ancestors through this practice. I began working with archetypes for personal transformation, especially through poetry and fiction, and taught creative writing and literature for 5 years at universities.
In 2011 I experienced a spontaneous rising of kundalini and shortly after began experiencing shamanic initiations that led me to step away from a career in nonprofit leadership to embark on the path of a healer.
This path led to certification as a yoga teacher, reiki master, and massage therapist, and extensive training in shamanic and spiritual healing, including techniques of energy medicine, journeying, cord dissolving, somatic dialoging, ancestral healing and lineage repair, grief work, shadow work, contract reweaving, extraction, soul retrieval, power retrieval, and space clearing. Teachers have included Pamela Wilson for nonduality and self-inquiry, Betsy Bergstrom for shamanic healing, Tristan Dorling for Advanced Yoga Practices | AYP, and Austin Coppock and Steven Forrest for astrology.
I have been offering healing services since 2014 and help clients with chronic pain, insomnia, anxiety, grief, disconnection, energetic imbalances, spiritual awakening symptoms, and complex trauma. I also help clients who are seeking to connect to their ancestors and helping spirits, including power animals, in order to deepen their own connection to Spirit.
It is my mission to empower others to feel more deeply embodied and to grow confident in your own intuition and inner knowing. My practice is heart centered and trauma informed and I will meet you where you are. You can read an interview with me at Mystic Mag.
